    Thanks for picture, very beautiful frog. The thing is I live in Minnesota and we don't have those frogs here. Pine barrens treefrog have white border strip on the side and frog I saved doesn't.

    nice frog, makes me want to go out in my yard and start identifying frogs, only thing i ever seem to find are toads

    Kurt, I had already discounted Pine Barrens tree frog - the markings are wrong if you look carefully. The skin texture is off too. It has to be a Gray Tree Frog. Juveniles are often bright green like this for much of the time.

    With the knowledge that the frog was found in Minnesota, I have to concur with you John, it has to be a gray treefrog. I wasn't 100% sure in my ID, more like 89%. I was thrown off by the markings and the fact there was no white patch under the frog's eye.

    Now if you excuse me, I have egg to wash off of my face.
