After a little research I believe it's a Cope's gray tree frog. Cope's gray tree frogs have smooth skin while Grays are rough.

I really don;t think this is a gray treefrog. I believe it to be the federally protected Hyla andersonii or pine barrens treefrog.

Thanks for picture, very beautiful frog. The thing is I live in Minnesota and we don't have those frogs here. Pine barrens treefrog have white border strip on the side and frog I saved doesn't.

nice frog, makes me want to go out in my yard and start identifying frogs, only thing i ever seem to find are toads
