Cork Background Curved

I just got my Zoomed 18x18x24 today. The cork background (18x24) is curved and I would like to straighten it if possible. I have 2 bags of the 24 dry quart reptisoil sitting on top of it. Will this work if left for awhile? Any other ideas on how to straighten it? Thanks much.

Answered my own question. I went to my reptile shop and asked the owner. He said to put it in the tub, mist it really good, and weight it down for about a week. It has actually helped a lot. It still has some curve but not as much.
