Mme Red, my false tomato frog, is refusing food and is sitting in her water dish or on the ground. I think it is time for her to join her late husband in froggy heaven, but I can't bring myself to do it. When he passed away a few years ago, she seemed to miss him for several months before returning to her life on the perch, waiting for food to come by. She loved to eat pinky mice but was no stranger to large insects. Now she wants none of that.
I will miss her.
Maybe I was wrong! Fingers crossed!
After extra misting and spraying, she eventually jumped up on her perch again, and last night she had a pinkie mouse! Just one, but I'm so happy!
Maybe this happened because of the long hot summer we had. I don't know. I'm just happy she ate.
How is your frog doing now?
if this is still happing if so then try feeding him hornworms thet have a lot of protein and well help him grow and well give him the energy that he need's
use tweezers to help him eat insteed of just put the worms right next to him/her.
not saying that you do that our anything just trying to help you out.
hope this helps
