Hi

i have two American toads one large female and a smaller male . I feed them a diet that changes from petsmart night crawlers and calcium dusted crickets. Although both toads are normally voracious at eating , I’ve noticed that my male toad has become kinda picky with his meals and has been eating less compared to the warmer months around my area. Both toads appear to be plump and in good shape.Their tank is located in my room at room temperature. Is it normal that the winter months may cause them to act more lethargic towards their feeding.Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated. There are also no herp vets located anywhere near to me so I am constantly educating myself to provide the best care to suite the needs of my pets.
