    It was completely quiet, he just decided to croak! I have learned that he is very weird. He just does things whenever he feels like it.

    That's so cool TJ. I dont keep Pyxie's but I can relate, It's exciting and you just want them to do it again so you can sneak up and watch him. To me I feel that its also a sign that they must be happy.Yah

    awsome! my pyxie has never croked. is there a sertan age when they start croaking. he is a liitle over a year.

    If it's a male, you could hear it croaking as early as 4 inches (10 cm) long, age not being very relevant. However, adults should croak quite regularly. The thing is, it's a low sound that doesn't travel very far, so he may be croaking and you've never noticed.
