I have one whites tree frog, and I’m thinking of getting another one. Currently, I have her in a 18x18x24 tall enclosure and I believe that’s large enough to adequately house two Whites. Also, I’ve read somewhere on the net that this species of frog actually enjoys and thrives off of companionship of the same species. True or false?
Hello!
Yes Whites Tree Frogs are communal with their own kind and I am also starting to believe native species are as well. So yes another tree frog will bring out a lot of interesting behavior that you would only see with multiple frogs. I have 3 and they are really funny how they act. They sit together a lot and bask together.
I believe that an 18x18x24 would be good for two juveniles but the larger they get they will need more space. This is the third largest species in the world for tree frogs.
I made a care sheet a while back. Maybe this will be helpful. Good luck!

Awesome, and thanks for the reply. I think I will go ahead and get the second one. As you stated, I will certainly get a larger enclosure for them as they grow.
