Buried Alive!!!

I have two ABFs both won’t eat and both keep burrowing under the substrate. I dig them up every weekend to see if they’ll eat, and this last time I waited almost 3 weeks. It’s been well over a month, almost 2 months since they last eat. They were eating everything in sight and growing very fat and happy. Is this normal. They both still seem very round and healthy. I make sure the substrate remains moist. Temps are around 79-82 degrees throughout the day. Thanks for your time.

Normally when they do that they are cold.
