We raised the tiny bullfrog since he was a tadpole. He is still a baby and hops away as soon as he sees me. He does not like coming up on land. I have a water heater, a basking light, and a uvb. He is the only thing in the 45 gallon tank. I had been taking him out and putting him in a separate tub to feed him. He has never eaten that much and now isn't eating at all. I don't know how else to take care of him. I want him the be a normal eating machine that I know bullfrogs are. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Has the frog absorbed its tail? They don't eat during this time.
Little frogs can be kind of shy. It's likely that moving it to feed is too much of a disturbance, and is putting it off. What foods are you offering? They require live, moving prey.
