Welcome! I'm partial to poison dart frogs and there are a number of varieties that are relatively easy to care for and breed. One of my favorite things about them is that they are active during the day, so you see them a lot if you stay away from the shy species.
Good beginner dart frogs include Dendrobates tinctorius (dozens of color morphs - including the blue dart frog - like the pair in my avatar photo), D. auratus (often called the Green & Black dart frog - although they come in many colors morphs as well), and D. leucomelas - the "bumble bee" dart frog.
