Hey everyone! I know its been awhile since I've posted, sorry bout that :P
Alphais, my three legged Rio Grande leopard frog, seems to have a problem.
I was out of town for a few days, she was fine before I left but now she has a lot of hard swelling in her stump. It was fat and normal size a week ago but now it's almost twice that!! Does anyone know what might have caused it? There are no external injuries whatsoever.
Thanks y'all![]()
C'mon guys, anybody??
Is it a long time since she lost the leg? All I can think of is infection from walking on the stump.
What kind of substrate do you have on the bottom of her tank?
Its been almost a year now, she seemed fine but that can change fastPaper towels are substrate at the moment, I'm going to upgrade her tank asap.
Paper towels and paper napkins are a useful substrate especially making it easy to keep the tank clean. How is Alphais doing?
