Default Night lights ? in a GTF tank

    Hello again,
I was wondering about Night time lighting,
i have 2 GTF and they are very active at night, but the second i turn on a lamp
even at the other side of the living room they stop there activity... sucks!
i was looking around for some ideas about night lamps
Should i just use a standard exo terra Night lamp or should i go another route?
I thought about setting up a string of Blue LED lights, for night viewing
but IDK if yall would have a better idea about lighting.... Im ready for the flow of ideas. lol

Also, ive read several diffrent places about night time heating
they have a exo terra UTH on the side of the tank which they SOMETIMES group and sleep around,
Should i get a night time heat lamp and that will solve the above problem
    or not???

How long have you had them. My frogs are in my office which has a computer monitor which is the light that I use to view them with. When I first got them they would be shy when I turned on the monitor. I feed them shortly after I turn on the monitor and now they don't care about the minimal light or me sitting there watching them. LED lights are not that bright and should work. I use a heat mat on the side of my tank because I have my house AC set at 72 degrees and I don't want them to get cold. Its on a thermostat so with the lights on in the tank during the day it doesn't go on that much. At night I have the thermostat set a little cooler than the day temp.

Hi there. Here is my .02
For my nocturnal frogs I use little 12v LED's at night to simulate natural moonlight.
As for heating I have a nighttime temperature drop of 5 degrees.

Yea, I actually just purchased a 12 led light strip off of ebay for 5$,
So how exactly do u control a 5 degree temp drop,
my enclosure drops almost 12 degrees with the day lamp off,
    (Light=standard incandecent 60watt bulb)

I use the Zoo-Med Hygrotherm to control my heat and humidity.

I use the exact same thing as Paul there and it works great. You simply plug in a Repti fogger and a heat mat or whatever you're using for a heater and it will regulate the temp and humidity for you. You can also adjust the temp to drop at night time. Also your fogger isn't on when it doesn't have to be which will make it last longer. AND... this allows you to go on a vacation without having to worry so much about your frogs.

Alrighty, I went to my local electronics/hobby store and picked up a strip of 9 blue led lights, I then added a toggle on/off switch to the line and here it is.....

I turned off all the lights in my house...

    & heres with a flash...
