This isn’t my frog, it’s my dad’s and I don’t care for it but I just happened to notice today that it has developed a large lump on its throat. I was wondering if anyone might know what this is and how big of a cause for concern it is. My dad’s had this frog for around a few years at least. Thanks for any help I can get, I want to make sure this frog isn’t suffering because of this growth or if it is the best course of action to relieve its pain. ):

Could be an infection. Also though I hate to say it frogs can get cancer. Maybe it's benign? Only a vet would really be able to tell for sure.
I see. I would also like to mention that when it chirps it also sounds slightly different than before? Almost higher pitched and squeakier, so thats something to take note of
The best case would be that it's a cyst or something that goes away on its own or it's a benign tumor that just stays the same. Try to note if it gets larger.
Also it would be good to see if the frog moves less or has less appetite. Could the frog have eaten something that poked it?
