    Default Are these tadpoles?

Just some background info, I found these critters in a dried up mudpuddle with loads already dead. I've never cared for tadpoles before, but I felt too guilty to just leave them there to die. I managed to scoop some up in a water bottle, and already have a makeshift tank prepared if they are definitely tadpoles. I live in the UK, so chances are they will either be a common frog/toad if that's any help.

Could anyone confirm that they are from this photo? Quick replies would be much appreciated, thank you in advance. They move in a sort of zig-zag motion, and most lie at the bottom unless disturbed.

I can't upload a video unfortunately, but can provide better pictures is needed.
