I agree with John, that it's P. edulis. There seems to be a confusion with the species name: it is NOT delandi, but delalandei. The two subspecies, Pyxicephalus delalandei delalandei is now Tomopterna delalandei (Cape Sand Frog) and Pyxicephalus delalandei cryptotis is now Tomopterna cryptotis (Tremolo Sand Frog). I have looked at all my African field guides and I could not come up with a Pyxicephalus delandi.

The genus Pyxicephalus has been spit into two genera: Pyxicephalus and Tomopterna.
