have you ever used cyprus? its not hard peices of wood when its wet it is actually very soft and fiber like you can take it with 2 fingers bend it and roll it and it litteraly comes apart. we litteraly keep every animal at work with cyprus mulch from chamelions to bearded dragons and pythons the store has been open for almost 50 years and have been using cyprus for around 10 years. also the herpitologist i work with uses it for all his animals with over 70 aquariums set up neither him, the store, nor i have ever had a death due to impactions or anything like that. and the fact that i hand feed all my pacmans out of there cage almost completely eliminates the chances of them eating a piece. my 3 small pacmans were all purchased at reptile shows and were being kept in cyprus and the big one was purchased from a private breeder who also uses it. and here i was just browsing the forums and someone posted pictures from the mn reptile show and of the new pacman they purchased also being kept in cyprus http://www.frogforum.net/pacman-frog...15-2010-a.html same witht the gecko. dont get me wrong im not trying to be an *** or anything i just devote almost all of my money and time on my animals to provide the best care i can. i was actually planning on switching their substrate for a more natural look and to grow live plants. you cant really compare not riding in a car seat to this. you didn't die because your parents were never in a car accident.
