Those of you with whites, or any frog I suppose, how often do you find shedded skin (in water bowls, side of tank etc.) or find it shedding? Just wondering what normal is or if it varies.
God bless,
Laura
I don't have White's but it's hard to answer this for anyone because most of the time the frog eats the skin. They shed surprisingly often.

I will second that. Occasionally, I will catch one of my frogs shedding or find some dried skin on the side of the tank, but I have no real way of knowing how often they are doing it.
ok, well I have never actually seen him shed, but I have seen some skin on the sides of his mouth or see him finishing up eating it. Seems like it is failrly often though, like every few days atleast that I either see a little left of him that he has not finished eating or a string of it somewhere. Is that normal?
God bless,
Laura
If he's eating regularly then every few days sounds fine.

yep he is. I brought him in some more crickets last night and when I came close to the tank he jumped to the door. They learn quick. lol. Is even every couple of days normal? I can't say for sure that he is every day or anything, but it just seems that I have noticed it a lot. Of course I watch him constantlySeems like every 2-3 days maybe. He is very active at night and eating very well.
God bless,
Laura
Excellent. Did you manage to get a fecal sample from him?
No, I need to call the vet and see how much that costs. Not too bad I am sure. My Grandmother is in the hospital, so it has been kind of in and out of town a lot lately.
God bless,
Laura
Sorry to hear that Laura. I hope she gets well soon.

Thank you. I think they may release her in the next couple of days as she has improved some. Thank you for the kind words.
