I was rethinking the diet of my pacman frogs and I was wondering what you're supposed to feed really big pacmans or pixies and how often.
Nightcrawlers are great but other than that, what's big enough? We have 7 and I personally don't have the time to sit there with tongs and put 30 mealworms one by one in front of their faces.
Do they eat silkworms and other large caterpillars?
Thanks in advance,
Sarah

I have seen at petco these giant locusts in a can. I have never bought one before but I have seen people feeding their pyxies and pacmans with these giant canned locusts.
I've had my horned frog for over a week now and have had no problems in feeding him large cricets.
Not really to sure but ive seen Horn Worms at the reptile show and they are massive and get about 4inches in just a couple of weeks!!But a little pricey, look into it....
I was reading various articles and care-sheets on ornates and found an interesting stat regarding their diets in the wild:
Ceratophrys ornata consumes primarily vertebrates; stomach content analysis of thirty-four specimens from Uruguay included 78.5% anurans, 11.7% passerine birds, 7.7% rodents, and 0.3% snakes, leaving only 1.8% as "other" (Basso 1990).
Frozen frogs may not be such a bad idea...
