When should i release my frogs

Hello everyone i am new to this. I have a rock for the froglets to lay on but they seem to want to get out of the tank entirely. Should i release them? They have very small stumps as their tails. Should i wait until their tails are fully gone? Any response would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would wait for their tails to be completely gone before releasing them.

Unless you are releasing them exactly where they came from, and unless you are 100% certain that they have not had any contact, either direct or indirect, with other amphibians while in captivity, and unless you are certain that it is legal in your area, you should not release them at all.
