    Unhappy Emergency!!! Help!!!

I have a green tree frog. I believe it is a male because of the amount of croaking. I have had him for almost five years now. I don’t know how old he was when I got him. But I just found some red gooey/liquidy looking stuff in his tank. I’m guessing maybe it is bloody poop? It doesn’t have any form, and I found a couple of spots of it. It literally looks like thick sticky blood, but more liquidy. Does anybody know what this could be? He is still eating like normal and is at normal behavioral activity. He doesn’t have any color or skin changes. He does look slightly larger to me but I could be wrong about that one. Not fatter, just larger.

here is the stuff I’m talking about and there’s another picture in the comments.

What are you feeding him? I'd look for behavior changes as well that might indicate a problem.
Parasites sometimes can irritate a frog's stomach, or he might have swallowed something sharp? I'm not a vet, but my frogs tend to have somewhat runny poop when they've had high levels of protozoa or nematodes. Is there any chance you could ask a local vet's to do a fecal test and possibly proscribe meds if something is wrong?

He only eats crickets. I noticed some little tiny larvae in his tank I think maybe some gnat eggs hatched. I don’t know if those are considered parasites or if he would have eaten any. But I don’t think there’s any way he could have swallowed something sharp. :/ I will have to take him to a vet probably.
