I’d like to add some ground cover to our toad tank. I have eco terra plantation mix in there and the two pothos plants I added are thriving but I’d like another equally easy to keep plant to spread across the ground. Any ideas?
Some of the Peperomia genus make for great ground cover. I’ve had luck with selaginia as well. However nothing spreads faster than pothos. So be patient if you add either and make sure you have decent lighting.
I am going to try some Selaginella. I like how it looks, it seems easy to keep, and I think a few plants will fill across the edge of the divider between the water and land nicely... maybe help keep some soil from ending up in the water (fingers crossed)
Three might be overkill. If they fill out I might put the middle one in a 15 gallon that I have in the basement... it’ll give
me an excuse to set up another tank for something

I'm going to move the pothos to the other side of the land section, less bunched up and it'll overhang over their log hide nicely.
