anybody know what kind of insect this is?

I caught it with my forceps and fed it to my painter. Quarter for size reference. I thought it was a moth at first. Its got big wasp like wings, big mandible, and it looked like it was pooping red or something (didnt look like blood it was too pink)when I grabbed it. Quiet and did not make a sound but squirmed quite a bit. Turtle loved it though apparantly it was quite crunchy.
