Someone told me on Facebook that my pacman frog Jasper is too small for a 6-7 month old. I don't have a pic I can upload from my phone but she is about the size of a palm on a hand. I'll look for a pic later
Palm size would be about 3-4in from snout to vent, I think? That seems like a perfectly fine size for that age, at least my experience with my own Pacman had her in a similar range at that age.
Maybe some people's impressions are skewed because you can make them bigger in a shorter time span if you feed them a lot and the opposite could be true (feed less = smaller). As long as Jasper is healthy, eating, and all his other froggy habits are good, I wouldn't worry too much about his size.![]()
Ok, she eats pretty good compared to when I first got her or him. She wouldn't eat for three weeks. Now she eats three times a week.
That's good! I'm sure if she keeps eating well, you'll see a nice growth spurt.
