That's awesome to hear! I can't wait until she reaches her full size. I have to say I'm surprised how hard it's proven to find this species for sale online.

Hi there guys. I'm very late in telling you guys more but he turned out to be a male and I ended up naming him Shandong Lee because a Chinese name is fitting for a giant Asian mantis and there have been several martial artists with the last name Lee and the striking movements of a mantis bring that to mind for me. I just use Lee for short but Shandong is a Chinese province that gave birth to a martial arts style of the same name that was inspired by the mantis. Unfortunately Lee passed away a couple weeks back . Mantises don't live long regrettably but I'm very glad I had him and he was awesome. I went ahead and ordered a new mantis of another species I like called a griffin mantis or polyspilota griffini. It should arrive soon and I'll be sure to keep you updated. In any case as I took way too long to show you, here's some pictures of Lee as he grew.
