How chubby is too chubby?

I have a wtf and he ate 1-3 crickets everyday. Then I started feeding him about every other day and he would eat 5-8. Sometimes it’s more often then every other day because when I spray down his tank he lunges at the spray bottle so I give him 4 or so.

This was when I first got him 3 months ago.


These were taken today he’s gained about 20g between these pictures.

Wow, what a change! Honestly, I think his current size looks good, wouldn't try to chunk him up much more than that.

It can be quite difficult to keep these frogs from getting a bit chubby, though. Both of mine are eating machines and would happily eat themselves into a food coma if I let them, lol.

That looks like a normal adult weight. Most adults have skin folds, but if they cover the ears completely, that's usually considered overweight as a rule of thumb.
