When I first got Gherkin, he spent all his time in the water dish-a solid 10 days. He was previously kept in a bathtub and was dehydrated and underfed, so who can blame him? Now, he is plump and laid back. He digs a hole but never buries himself and will eat anything, though if it is small, he ignores it. Being blind in one eye doesn't help either. I feed all three of mine in a separate feeding tub, too.
Jeff, would you be able to post pics of Cleo? I am glad to hear she is doing well with you. When do you plan on starting to breed them?
