I do have a feeding dish. I think sometimes my toads mistake reptobark as a bug.
I'd change the substrate to cocofiber. It can been digested easier and the individual substrate particles are much smaller than reptobark. I'm actually having to change the substrate in my bullfrog tank because she likes to eat right on the edge of the land area which is gravel. Sometimes the substrate just doesn't work the way we want it to, which is annoying.

Mucus plus green stool can mean infection, but in this case it could be the irritation from the bark.
