Okay, so I just acquired a 50 gallon lowboy- it's 48x24x10. I don't have a stand that can hold a tank with that footprint, though, and I've been wanting tree frogs, so I'm going to try and convert it to an upright tank of either 48x10x24, or 24x10x48. I want small tree frogs, I'm thinking about clown tree frogs but I'm going to be getting them at SEWERfest in August so I'm a bit limited by what they sell there. Nothing bigger than 3, maybe 4 inches, though.
Anyways, I'm going to use this thread as a build journal.
Should I make 48 inches the height and 24 the length, or make 24 inches the height and 48 the length? Can't get the tank started till I decide how it's going to be oriented.
