How Do I Show My Frog I Love Him?

I was wondering, how can I show my frog that I love him? I feel kind of mean how I always poke Froggomissio around with metal tongs and my finger.

Frogs do not have the cognitive ability to experience, understand, or appreciate emotions such as "love".
My suggestion is that you provide it with proper care, food and housing, and accept that you are doing as much as possible for it. And, perhaps, stop poking at it.

They may not feel love, but they probably understand security and contentment. Maybe adding some places to hide in the tank and not poking it unless you need to would help with that.
