Pixie Frog Tank, and Care Help

I've been wanting to get a Pixie Frog for a long time now, and this is the time in June.
I prepared a list of items that they need, but I need some help with it.

UTH Heater, from Reptile Basics
Aqueon Deluxe Full Hood
Eco Earth
40 Breeder Empty Glass Tank
Large Waterbowls
Multiple Hides

I have a spray bottle for his humidity, but I heard that it was better to use Heat Lamps, rather than a UTH Heater.
I was wondering about that, so if I do need a heat lamp, what lid do I use to keep the humidity in?

Pixie Frogs Diet?
Heres what I thought I would feed my pixie frog.

Daily, Crickets
Monthly, Thawed Mice, and Feeder Goldfish

I don't know if anything else is healthy for them, because I've heared that superworms aren't the best diet for them, and waxworms too are like a candy.
I need biggest help in the diet.

Yes, I know to use de-chlorinated water for their bowls, and spray bottles. I have experience with other reptiles, and animals but not pixie frogs.
This would be my first one. I'm trying to create a list of care, and needs so I can convince my parents that I did my research.

On the diet part, I forgot to put Earthworms.
I will feed those too.

Well remember they borrow so put the UTH on the side and i would recommend a bulb and light infered sense then can't see the red so you can heat the tank with it also it is very hard to a adult male bullfrog i mean even online they are hard to find and cost a lot im talking 500 bucks well as far as i have seen. if you go young and raise up i also recommend starting on a smaller cage to help the frog feel more secure. other then those notes your doing awesome i also recommend you read the care sheet on this site it is crazy useful.

I have a breeder near me that I've bought all my reptiles at, and they have very healthy diets, and animals.
I got my leopard gecko from there, and she was a very healthy one, and very active.

They sell the bullfrogs for 60$, not sure about the size of them though.
I will start small, thanks for your help!

You sound like you have it all figured out. For pixies, you can feed them anything you want TBH. They aren't picky and food is food. Feeder goldfish is good every so often and anything with bones so they can have that extra minerals. I use just a standard heat lamp with my pixies. As long as you don't use a heat pad you should be fine. I've said in other post, I usually go out in my yard and catch my pixies food.....like dragon flies, June bugs, and geckos/anole lizards.
