    Default Sick ACF Need advice

I've lost one frog two weeks ago - but still have four left. 66 gallon tank so plenty big.

My biggest frog is showing same behavior. Near the top of tank more (not good), won't eat, and feet are cloudy. Same behavior as the one I lost. Sadly, I found out too late the blood worms are NOT good and this has been the staple diet. Been increasing water changes as well.

Resigned to losing the frog but would like to know what this is and whether the other three are in danger (so far they seem fine)

    Any thoughts? Help please

I am not an ACF expert, so hopefully someone else will see this. I think it might be some sort of fungal infection. You can find a vet or there are treatments you can buy. The picture I could find that is most similar to yours was an ACF that had also been fed blood worms, so that might be a major factor. Does there appear to be any sort of sore or abscess other than the cloudiness?

I think you're right. He's beginning to show other discoloring. I know that I've been overfeeding as I was going on advice from my local store (which was 100% wrong!). They know a lot about fish but not much about frogs as it turns out.

In any event, tank is not stable and I know I need to completely change the water (in the process of doing that). I'll look into those treatments because I'd hate to lose the frog if there's something I can do. I've been looking online and salt treatment sounds like an option; just need to figure out how to do that!!

Very grateful for your response. Thank you.

Poor little guy! I had two ACFs about a year ago now... R.I.P. Neptune and Jordan... Welcome and good luck!
