If, unfortunately, your pet passes on, please consider donating the body to science.

Place the body in a plastic bag with a small amount of distilled water and place it in the freezer.

Then, send me a private message. I will send you shipping materials and a return label for free!

I run a no-kill laboratory at a University, and we really need specimens for DNA sequencing, microbiota analysis, and more. We specialize in amphibian molecular biology research (amount other things) but I do not allow euthanasia of our critters for research.

Ghoulish, I know, but I prefer to work with those that died of natural causes.

Note: No axolotls please! We inherited extensive cryogenic samples from a now defunct lab. All other genera and species welcome!

I have some dead critters in the freezer but not with water... would that work? Or do they need to have been placed in water before hand?
