ACF feeding trouble

Hi everyone!
My ACF has been having some issues eating. He takes it fine off the tongs or just catching it, he puts it in his mouth and sits for about 10 minutes and then he spits it out. I have tried all kinds of different foods ( canned mealworms, frozen worms, crickets, guppies, beetles, I even tried a piece of frozen mouse!) He grabs them up and then spits them out. Any advice?
