    Default aestivation

so my frog is approx 10.5 months old now and hes 7.25 inches. for the past id say 6 weeks his appetite has gone way down. he went from eating 20 adult dubia 3 times per week to now 5-10 twice a week.
hes also stopped croaking where before he was croaking multiple times a day. he seems healthy when i get him out and has a good feeding response but just doesnt eat anywhere near what he used to.
temps and humidity are the same, apart from the ambient temps on the cold ends of his enclosure are cooler.

he seems to dig in a bit more than before when i first got him, im thinking maybe he wants to aestivate. how can i go about doing this properly without killing him? iv heard some horror stories of some frogs not waking up and i dont want it to happen to him.

still, aestivation sounds healthy and should probably be done, it seems like he wants it. can anyone with experience help me? id appreciate it. cheers.
