I found this forum while searching for toadlet care, and just had to register.

I have a small 80-100gl garden pond in my front yard that can only be described as a magnet for all sorts of amphibians, unfortunately when I have to clean it at certain times of the year I find myself with a few very late (or very early) bloomers and no real idea of how to care for them (so I end up releasing them into a nearby wild pond, and hope they make it).

I've wanted to keep a toad (or two) as pets since I was a small child, but never quite got there. Mostly due to a mom who doesn't like "slimy things".
Over the years I have had a few turtles, an Iguana and even a Cranwell's frog (poor thing tried eating a large rock that I was absolutely sure he'd NEVER try eating).

Welcome to the forum, Rat. If you want to raise tadpoles and toadlets, the Gray Tree Frog article has detailed info that applies equally well to toads. The Sonoran Desert Toad article has info too.
