On the off chance it ruptures before you are able to get into the vet, you can clean the wound with Bactine (not sure if you have it where you live) and dab Neosporin without pain reliever on it. Regardless of your next step, give his tank and everything in it a good cleaning and keep it pretty spartan with only a water dish, one or two places to hide, and replace the substrate with paper towels. If his environment caused the lump, this will prevent more or the current one from getting worse.
Thank you for your advice. The vets here unfortunately have no clue about frogs from past experience. I have ordered some Bactine which will arrive tomorrow. May soak him in some water and small amount of Melafix.
