Default Different kind of GABF living space

So for my 40gal breeder I wanna do something different. Maybe not soil (eco earth) but something other than that. My boy loves his baths. He gets real Afro when he is soaking. I used to have a deep tuperware in the breeder with heated water but thinking more for out side of the water dish.
abyone have luck with just slate?
any type of furniture that’s good for basking. Good for the frog. And less of a mess than the usual eco earth?
been looking around online for the past month for new ideas. Aliya people in Asia use very minimal things in their tank. Keeps the frog clean and they usually seem happy.

just looking for “alternative tank” ideas for a setup.
