    Default Methuselah Crickets

Well, my old breeder crickets that had hatched January 24, 2010 finally began to die off and so I fed them off to my toads. They produced prolifically until last week, when they had obviously run their course. I am wondering if anyone else has had such long lived crickets.

Their first offspring, hatched April 6, 2010, have been producing eggs starting in July 7, 2010. Every four days I get a batch of lay tubs full of eggs, way more than I can fit in my incubator, so the batches have to wait their turn for the incubator, but once in the incubator usually hatch in a few days after a couple weeks just in the house.
