Hey, all.
We recently found this little frog in our sunroom, and we’re not quite sure what it is. We’re in South Carolina.
When we found her, she was a teal color, as shown. After a couple of days and some crickets, she’s a beautiful blue with white spots on her back. She turns very dark at night.
Any thoughts?
I’m definitely not an expert but she looks like a really, really pretty American green tree frog. I tried looking up others with that speckled patterned. Green tree frogs do have that white stripe down their side.

Look on this site and go down to the green tree frog section and click on those pictures. They look similar (to me) to the one you have.
I really don't know what this is, after checking. Maybe a weird American Green morph?
Thanks for showing us this cool frog. If you want a better ID, there's this site called iNatualist where people identify animals and plants.
That is a green tree frog some green tree frogs are born with spots and some are not born with spots. It just depends on the frog

Yeah! I used to keep gray tree frogs they were amazing. Haha. A google image link took me to that page and I didn’t really look at all the frog links . The “spring peeper” looks identical to the one posted under gray tree frogs it is funny that the writer didn’t catch that.
