I put a wild caught cricket we found and the street in my pacman frogs cage and I was about to take it out but the frog ate it! What should I do! I read that these wild crickets and transmit diseases and even kill the frogs if it has too many toxic chemicals! Is there anything that I can do to protect it against from the harmful substances that the cricket may be carrying or should I visit the vet? Am I worrying too much or is this a serious threat?

There's not much you can do at this point other than keeping your eyes peeled for strange behavior. When he poops, inspect it to make sure it's normal and not runny or discolored. If his poop is abnormal, try packing it in a sealed container and take it to be analyzed at your closest exotic vet. Just be prepared for their fees if you go this route; they're usually cheaper than an exam, but still pricey. As long as he is responsive and eating, I would not worry too much.![]()
