Hi all,
I'm currently setting up a white's tree frog terrarium and I'm wondering about heating. I want to make sure it's all ready before I bring frogs home so I want to make sure I'm doing it right. I keep finding mixed info about what they need. I was wondering what you guys suggest- I currently have a heating pad that can be stuck underneath the tank, although I was told that sticking it to the side is good because they don't spend much time on the ground and I also bought a dome light. Do I need both? Or what's the best situation for white's? Thanks so much!![]()
For my golden tree frog,
I use a heat bulb that heats the terrarium to the correct temperature (around 24 and 29 degrees celcius). I'd only use a heat mat if you're struggling to get the temperature up via heat bulb alone because the heat bulb represents the sun which they sometimes like to chill under.
