No. Fluffy (that's its name) is large and doesn't have a dark colored throat. But it semmed like it tried to squeak once and made a little noise, but nothing like I've heard from a male toad. It was more like a VERY quite click than a squeak.

If she starts getting lethargic then maybe give a little less food, but keep in mind, a fat toad is a happy toad!
It does look like she is a female, like MariePey said she could be full of eggs. And sometimes a female (very rarely but possible) can make noise.
Fluffy passed away last night. The humidity and substrate weren't nearly as moist as I thought and she was dehydrated. I feel horrible since I could have so easily prevented this, and I loved my fat fluffy baby. I can't believe how bad messed up...![]()

Thanks. I guess I shouldn't be so upset with myself since the first step towards loving others is loving yourself. I think I'm going to adopt a leopard gecko and put it in her tank. Thanks for all the help!![]()
