    Question Can frog roam around

Is it safe (germ-wise or cleaning products-wise) to take my green tree frog out of his tank sometimes and let him roam around a closed off room he can be safe in? I’m afraid of him absorbing germs through his skin or dried cleaning chemicals I use to clean the floor with through his skin.

I really don't know this one. Germ wise I assume it would be okay since you probably don't eat off the floor. As far as the chemicals it would depend how often you use them. You might want to wet mop the floor with just water to be on the safe side.

Another consideration is whether there are places in the room a frog could get in where you couldn't get it back out.

No, it isn't safe. It is a very poor idea.
Frogs have very sensitive skin, and at risk for abrasions, absorption of toxins, and dehydration.
Other risks include injury, escape, and stress.
Generally speaking, frogs should not be handled at all, except when absolutely necessary, and even then, only with clean, wet hands.
