Hello PP , when I joined 1 year ago I was clueless and franticly asked for help, among many help post I asked similar question to yours! The reply came back keep tank bottom bare and I profound this to be 100% correct advice# For starters I can see how much ****e might need hoovering and know its not hidden in gravel or sand! Secondly I know there will be no issues with frogs swallow, so take good advice keep bare bottom after a while you get to like it that way as you know the tanks at least 50% clean

Can honestly say though! Due to my filter intake being so close to tank bottom and the fact the frogs swim aggressive time to time I have never seen a poopsy on tank bottem yet!
