I do 3D jigsaw puzzles and papercraft as a hobby and got the idea of building a cityscape for my leopard gecko to roam around in or use as hides. I'm trying to find a safe way to seal the completed puzzles to protect both them and the lizard. The user of another forum suggested this community as a good place to look for advice on all things vivarium-related. How would the experts of this forum recommend I go about doing this? I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions you have to offer.
I was thinking of using modpodge to glue the puzzles together and then spraying them over with a clear polyurethane spray. Krylon was recommended to me as a brand, but all I could find on Amazon is "Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating" (which I'm not sure is polyurethane) and "Polyurethane Gloss Varnish", which looks a bit too shiny for my liking.
