You can, but there's some concern about parasites. Especially if cane toads aren't native to your area and adapted to local parasites, I think. Some parasites normally don't hurt a frog much, but in the environment of the tank they can build up and keep re-infecting the same frog until the frog gets sick. Especially if you have permanent substrate setup.
