albino is the only color i see here in canada! I have checked every store just albino. Was curious if two albino frogs breed is a good posiblity some of the tadpoles will be wild colored? or any other color?
WHy do no other collor variations exist?
I have also been having a hard time in Canada finding any Colours other than albino. The supplier I got mine from said in order to get the wild coloured ones they had to have a minimum order of 500 and there just isn't that much of a demand to order that many. I wish there was some way to find hobby breeders and possibly get one that way instead of a major retail store. I'm not sure about your theory of breeding two albinos and receiving some coloured tadpoles but I hope mine will breed so I can find out. My dwarf's have bred so hoping my new guys will too.
amber thank god i am not the only one! But americans have green wild colored, and other nice colors as well. Are you located in GTA? i have 3 huge females.
I was also told that they avoid wild colored because no demand. But there are green and some stunning variations. I even saw a black one.
I'm located in Muskoka area. I usually go to Big Als in Barrie for all of my fish/aquatic critters. I'm actually surprised even in the GTA you are unable to get even a few variations. My two are still quite young and hope to breed in the future. As I said my dwarfs have bred but I didn't notice until the tadpoles were already hatched and they were unfortunately eaten. I'm hoping the claweds are a bit easier.
