Hello, so I have a red eyed tree frog that seems to have brownish raised spots on his back. Is it possibly some type of wound or scab and if so what precautions should I take?
Hi! I'm sorry your frog seems to be sick. Hopefully we can figure out what is wrong. I'm going to ask some questions about the frog and his/her enclosure.
1. Where did you keep the temperature and humidity?
2. Does the frog have any tankmates living with them?
3. Is your frog lethargic/low on energy? This is a big sign of illness, as is not eating.
4. Do you dust their food with Calcium+d3 and a multivitamin regularly?
5. I haven't kept RETFs before, but white spots don't seem normal for them(going to check to make sure.)
Unfortunately I can't tell from the photo what is wrong, but more photos at other angles and some pictures of the tank would be helpful too. I hope I can help. Good luck!

1. During the day I try and keep the temp. At 75 F at night I let it drop to upper 60's. I keep the humidity at 70%. 2. He lives alone. 3. I haven't noticed any lethargy. Just abut a day ago I witnessed him going to lay in his water dish. 4. Once a week I dust my crickets the crickets are also given a cricket block to load them with calcium. 5. The white spots only really appear at when during the night and early morning. He darkens up during this time to camouflage himself. I will post more photos of his tank when I am home.
Thanks! If he isn't lethargic(I assume he's eating, since you didn't mention any problems feeding) that's a good sign. Make sure to watch out for lethargy/slow or sluggish movement, redness on the underbelly(no need to check now, might as well leave him alone to avoid stress. Just keep an eye out.), sudden weight loss, bloating or anything else odd.
Also, this and the problem are probably unrelated, but your temps are a little low. Below is a recommendation from frog forum's RETF Care Sheet.
Day: 26-28 °C (78-82 °F); Night: 22-24 °C (71-75 °F)

I also checked LLLReptile's guide, I try to find at least 2 guides lol
Hopefully some users that keep Red Eyes will have some input for you!
