    Default Croak :-)

    Hi,

I just wanted to share with you a recording of my Whistling tree frog. Sorry nothing to look at just the sound. Its in the middle of winter here so I was surprised to hear my little guy croaking last night. I used my daughters flip video to record this so I hope it turns out OK. They are very loud for such a little tree frog.

Interesting call. I would love some idea of how loud it is?

These guys are in an enclosure outside and I can hear them from inside my house. Im not sure how to translate the actual volume.

Cool! So if it's the middle of winter is your little guy getting in some pre-spring training in order to get a jump on the competition

Nice sound. Sounds like a cricket and an american toad. Lol. I love toads!
I know this is a rant. But has anyone ever noticed that frogs and toads look alittle bit like people? With a little imagination of course. Anywho. Id love to see your lil' whistler!
