baby toad changed color twice?

hi, i have 2 baby toads and a boreal chorus frog. the bigger of the toads has stayed white ever since i have had him. ( got him as a baby. ) the other, however, got his colors but turned back gray by night time. thanks.

I know some frogs change colors, maybe your toads do too. Also, white? Is it an albino?

It's likely changing color do suit its environment and temperature. Have you changed the substrate to a different type of lowered and/or raised the temperatures recently?

i didn't change the substrate or the temperature, but i did have a box fan blowing on them for a while.
